The Challenge

Blew & Associates is the country's leading ALTA Survey provider, delivering work all across the US. Their previous site made them look considerably smaller than that.

A single Services dropdown held a long list with little to no hierarchy to give it shape, and almost no cross-promotion between related services. A visitor who came for an ALTA survey had little reason to learn Blew could also handle the civil engineering, the Phase I, and the zoning report on the same deal. The templates compounded it. With little variation between layouts, pages resolved into dense walls of text offering a reader nowhere to land and nothing to act on. Visually, the whole thing undersold a century-old national practice.

The Solution

We rebuilt the site around five verticals: surveying, civil engineering, assessments, construction services, and zoning. Each got its own parent page with room for child services beneath it, so the structure can inherit new offerings as Blew grows. That hierarchy surfaces in a stylized mega menu where the breadth of services is apparent and easy to navigate.

New page templates broke dense text blocks into sections that a reader can easily scan and browse. We also pushed for a section the previous site didn't have at all, projects. This section gave Blew a new way to talk about their services and a chance for viewers to see the actual work.

Overall, Blew went from a site that listed and described what they do to one that shows it and proves it.

Homepage-Stack Homepage-Stack

Blew already used topographic map artwork but used it sparingly. We made it a more integrated part of the system, running it through section backgrounds and card treatments where it does double duty as texture and as a reference to the fieldwork itself. Paired with a deep teal drawn from the existing brand and a hero running drone footage with no controls or play button, the result carries the weight of a century-old national practice without resorting to stock photography of buildings. Restraint was the operating principle.

Project Page Project Page

Each project page is built to answer the questions a lender or developer brings to it. A photo/video carousel and location establish the project, and a short narrative covers the scope and what Blew delivered. Alongside it, a datasheet gives the facts at a glance: location, asset type, year built, and square footage, with a Request Similar Work button directly beneath. A buyer who recognizes their own deal in the numbers is one click from a quote.
